The Ely Hotel is one of our much-loved properties. So expect home-from-home comfort, a warm welcome, great hospitality, and full hotel service. This traditional English country hotel also has dog-friendly rooms. So let us know if you’d like to bring your furry friend along. Believe or not, this striking red-brick and ivy-covered hotel was built with the proceeds of a bet! In 1865, a racehorse called Ely won the prestigious Ascot Gold Cup. The hotel was then named in their honour by the delighted racegoer. Recently updated and lovingly refurbished throughout, you’ll find it’s still a sure bet for a fabulous stay.
