Local Attractions, Ye Olde Talbot, Worcester

There is plenty to do all year round when you stay at Ye Olde Talbot Hotel. Magnificent Worcester Cathedral is just over the road, or take a stroll on one of the lovely riverside walks. You can enjoy a river cruise down the Severn, or a day's racing at Worcester Racecourse, possibly the most picturesque track in the country. The Commandery was the Royalist headquarters during the deciding battle of the English Civil War, the Battle of Worcester, in 1651. And there is lots to discover at Harvington Hall, or National Trust properties Croome Court, Hanbury Hall and Gardens, Greyfriars House and Gardens and Hawford Dovecote.
