The Raven Hotel is one of our highly popular properties. So expect a warm welcome, great service, good value food and drink, and all the modern touches you need for both leisure and business. Originally built as a striking manor house, in 1901, The Raven then became a tastefully converted hotel with guests including Edward VIII and Enid Blyton. In fact, famous children’s author Blyton wrote the first of her hundreds of books right here! The Raven is a grand building with friendly staff and good old-fashioned hospitality. Whether you’re staying with us for business or leisure you’ll find everything you need to relax and unwind. Clean, inviting and promising a restful night’s sleep, all blend tasteful décor with the building’s original character, plus all the essentials you need to make yourself comfortable.
This is a pet friendly hotel. There is limited availability on our rooms for pets and are offered on a first come, first served basis. All bookings with pets must be pre-booked - please contact the hotel directly or call 0345 608 6040 to check availability and to complete your booking.
