Originally built as a striking manor house, in 1901, The Raven then became a tastefully converted hotel with guests including Edward VIII and Enid Blyton. In fact, famous children’s author Blyton wrote the first of her hundreds of books right here! The Raven is a grand building with friendly staff and good old-fashioned hospitality. Whether you’re staying with us for business or leisure you’ll find everything you need to relax and unwind.
