The King Alfred Way is a new cycle route which takes 3-5 days to complete and is only a short distance from The Raven Hotel. All cyclers staying over can take advantage of the bike cleaning facilities, foot pump and repair kit, in order to get straight back on the saddle after a hearty breakfast! The Raven Hotel is close to lots of other fun things to do all year round. Ascot Racecourse is just up the M3 and the fantastic Farnborough International Airshow is close by too. You could visit the celebrated garden and intriguing collection of follies at West Green House Garden National Trust site, or take in the splendour of Waverley Abbey. Fresh air is in abundance in South Downs National Park and Castle Bottom National Nature Reserve or discover over 180 different bird species and lots of other animals at Birdworld. The Royal Military Collection is also available to view at Sandhurst.
