Great views onto open fields surround the late 18th century Hare & Hounds in the picturesque rural village of Ledburn. In the vast expanse of farmland, where horses are a regular sight and chimney pots are few, the Hare & Hounds (referred to as the Hidden Haven), presides.
The spacious car parking most of the way round the Inn, with access via three entrances, portrays the huge welcome that Licensees Mick and Lisa Rutter have in store for you at the Hare & Hounds. Whether it's informal dining in the relaxed and friendly bar with log burning fire, or a candlelit meal in the non-smoking restaurant, there's an exotic choice of fresh fish/meats e.g. ostrich steak, in addition to the A La Carte menu. Families are well catered for in the restaurant or, weather permitting, in the large garden and play area.

What's more plans are on the horizon for guest rooms and a conservatory extension to the restaurant to cater for wedding receptions and other functions, in the not too distant future.
